About Columbus Skateboarding Lessons
Columbus Skateboarding Lessons began as a way for me to share the joy, thrill and discipline of skateboarding with others who may have been intimidated, nervous or unsure how to get rolling! I have taught thousands of students of all ages and skill levels and would love to help you reach your skateboarding goals!

Private and Group

1 hour private lesson $50
The 1 hour private lesson/coaching is the standard lesson for any and all skill levels. What we cover in this session depends on the skill level and desire of the skater. We will make sure that everyone knows the fundamentals, and work on the skills and tricks that the skater is interested in learning. Call or text 614-315-2071 with questions or to set up a lesson!

30 minute private lesson $25
The half hour 1 on 1 private lesson is perfect for younger skaters just getting started or anyone looking for just a few pointers! Recommended for skaters 7 and under or anyone who has one or two specific skills they want to focus on! Call or text 614-315-2071 with questions or to set up a lesson!.

1 hour group lesson $25/skater
Learn to skate with a crew or work on some new tricks with your friends! Works best when skaters have relatively similar skill level, but not absolutely necessary. Call or text 614-315-2071 with questions or to set up a lesson!

Sunday lessons at Powell Skatepark $20
Group lessons at Powell skatepark runs for skaters of all ages and skill levels on Sundays from 1:00-2:00 pm. Chris will be there working with the other great instructors on the Skate Naked staff! Just show up @ 1:00 on Sundays! Check @cbusskateboardinglessons for updates on cancellations!

Beginning Skateboarding camps at Powell Skatepark focuses on the fundamentals of skateboarding and learning how to use the skatepark safely while having a lot of fun!

Chris Higgins is the owner and lead instructor for Columbus Skateboarding Lessons. He has been skateboarding for over 40 years and teaching skateboarding for over 25 years. His wife Megan and son Jules also love to skate! Away from skateboarding, Chris teaches courses in History and Mythology at Columbus State Community College.
